Following the path as we’ve started with Startup grind Asturias, we are collaborating with Astur Valley, keeping our compromise and support to the innovative initiatives.
One of the regions with greater entrepreneurial initiative and existing startups in Spain is Asturias. Proof of this is the creation a few years ago of the so-called Startup Grind Asturias, unique in Spain along with those promoted in Madrid and Barcelona.
As a result of this widespread entrepreneurial spirit, last April was presented in society the new ASTUR VALLEY. The Asturian Association of Startups, ASTUR VALLEY, is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to create a favourable environment for the development of startups in Asturias by providing communication and advocacy efforts in order to promote collaborations among entrepreneurs from the Principality of Asturias.
ASTUR VALLEY began its journey with 15 associated startups: Wehey, Neosentec, Cuicui Studios, Neoalgae, Tech4Snow, beQbe, Karten, Betterplace, Blunder, Spyko, Aloha24, Creatorstats, Toptasting, Quiquilo and Ubiqware.
One of the main initiatives already launched by Astur Valley is the “Startup School”, the first school for startups in northern Spain which celebrated its first edition last Thursday 21 April in Gijon. After conducting a selection process with more than 30 innovative ideas , 7 startups were selected to join this pioneering program. These “future” Startups were: Entre Vecinos, Devhaven, Desert Corp, Findes.co, Payplay, Routive y Soy de Confianza.
